Job Description

We have been engaged by a real estate client in the Denver metro area to help identify and hire someone for a key Tax Manager role.  Our client is in a segment of the real estate market that continues to perform very well and has positioned themselves as a leader in the asset class they serve.  The Tax Manager will be one of several tax professionals that drive the company's tax compliance and planning function and bring significant value to the bottom line.  The tax function is a critical piece of how the company makes money.

Job Requirements

Here is what kind of background is well suited for this Tax Manager position:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (advanced degree a plus)
  • Minimum of 4 years of income tax experience
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Partnership tax experience required (real estate experience a plus)
  • Ability and willingness to manage a small team but also be hands on
