Senior International Tax Analyst

We have been engaged by the Tax Director of a leading Twin Cities company with interests that span the globe to assist in locating a Senior International Tax Specialist to join their internal tax team. Our client is a worldwide leader in their industry and offers a dynamic environment and great benefits. This is a medium sized tax department that is regularly working on some interesting, complex, acquisition projects. If you want to grow professionally and be challenged - this is the place to do it. They are currently working remotely, so all interviews would be done via video conference. Because of the space they are in, they are set up well for the short-term uncertainty in the economy due to the recent pandemic.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and assist in the review of the US International Tax Return Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865 and supporting workpapers
  • Prepare workpapers and calculate tax adjustments for U.S. International tax filings
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing foreign and domestic entity information
  • Assist with improving tax compliance process
  • Assist with FATCA process, including analysis of entities and completion of W-8s/W-9s and self-certifications
  • Assist in preparation of quarterly E&P projections for use in estimating the potential US tax impact of foreign operations
  • Assist in both compliance and planning projects as needed
  • Supervise outside contractors as needed

 Preferred education/ qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • 2+ years of corporate tax experience in either public accounting or industry
